Bosnia Day 1 - departure & arrival

After an almost 3 hours delay we left for Split, Croatia. There we got picked up by a taxi bus that would bring us to Bosnia, a 4 hour drive to our destination Lisicici. On the way we had dinner in the Bingo, in Mostar. Since it was already pit dark, there was not much to see there yet.
We arrived at our hostel around 10pm, after having been shown around our project location first: a tiny school in Glogosnica. This to help us getting ideas for what to do and how to improve that school building and site. Tomorrow night we will have to come up with a plan, within our budget. The budget being the money our students raised before coming out here. Lidl sponsored our sweet appetite (drop!!) and plenty of "vitamins", as in small cuddly toys in the shape of fruit and veggies. Plan is to use those for lessons of English about ….. fruit and veggies obviously.
Once everyone got their beds sorted, we were happy to call it a day around midnight. Rise and shine at 8am to hear from a local teacher about …. teaching in Bosnian primary schools.
